The History and Beauty of Recorded Sound Media

Public Art
at Carolina

This exhibit showcases 55 works of art found in public places on the UNC campus. I curated the exhibit from ideation to completion, doing all necessary research in UNC's libraries and elsewhere, taking 95% of the photographs and writing 95% of the exhibition text. The exhibit is currently displayed as part of "The Carolina Story," a virtual museum of UNC history hosted by the Carolina Digital Library and Archives.

Visual Poetry
This exhibit collects and displays 40+ works of visual poetry found in UNC's libraries (chiefly the Rare Books Collection and Davis Library, but ranging as widely as the Sloane Art Library and the SILS Juvenile Collection). All photographs and exhibit text are mine. As this was intended to be a physical exhibit, I created three-dimensional display models to the scale of exhibit cases in Wilson Library's Rare Books and Special Collections Gallery.
